Does the Forum use an atomic clock? I only ask coz I noticed that my PC clock is about 5 minutes behind the Forums - or is the server located somewhere west of Ireland?

My PC synchronises to a time clock on the Internet. You can get a little utility which will do the job for you.

windows xp has the capability built in (not sure if its enabled by default though)

you have to be extremely carefull with third aprty utitlities for this perpose there is an insane amount of spyware out there

if you need one that is simple reliable non intrusive and spyware free (i know the author)

Good point Plug. Ever since I got a Trojan Horse on one of the systems here I now no longer download any s/w from any source. I simply checked with the Beb your sever clock is of course dead right and mine was way off.

your just punishing yourself if you do that

its about being sensible with what you download

after a while it gets pretty easy to recognise what sources are dodgy Wink
