Mini Digger Hire
Apr 4th, 2005, 5:57pm

I am thinking of setting up a mini digger hire business in the east midlands area.
Do you think there is oversupply already?
What machine do you value the most e.g. 0.75t that can go through front door or are 1.5t better with the trade-off of requiring wider access.
What experience do you have of hire companies you have dealt with in the past.
Does £80/day, £220/week, £125/weekend inc. delivery (within 15 miles of base) sound good (would be new kubota or takeuchi machine).
Your thoughts and opinions most appreciated cheers, tank

I don't know about the East Midlands but even out in the sticks where I live there is no shortage of digger hire.

One option may be to hire out the digger with operator. I know a lot of people don't like using them especially if they have a trench to dig close to the house.

Just a thought?
