imperfections left after a re-skim. i suppose its a question of sanding the few rough spot that are present.
but what do we use for filling in the tiny scars and small blemishes?? also the tool for applying the filler.
would you use that jointing compound??
cheers

I have used that on many a occasion (Gyproc), and a bag goes a very long way, but it goes off quite quick, so I knock it up in small amounts.
I am a tetrion person, I think its brilliant stuff for filling.
I wouldnt worry about small nicks, and trowel marks, it comes with being a plaster
, I have never yet painted a new plastered wall or ceiling without having to make good.
No offence to any of the plasters out there, but must admit some can be slapdash.
Thats why the eastern european, specially the Polish plasters have got such a good name, dont know about after spending time in the UK working, but a releativly new polish plasterer to our shores, does know how to plaster to a high standard.
Reason being, when they plaster in thier country, they have to leave it perfect, cause when the decorator goes in to paint, the plasterer get money taken off them for what making good the painter does,so rather than lose money, they do a pukka job.
