Turning off Mains Water Supply

Hi
I recently purchased a ground floor flat and am currently stripping everything out. I have stripped out the electric heating system, hot water cylinder, kitchen and bathroom sinks.
The kitchen and bathroom sinks both had their own stop cocks so removing them was easy. My problem is the bath. The cold water supply comes straight out of the concrete floor and connects to the bath cold water tap. I can't see a stop cock or isolating value (the pipe is also lead i think).
Can someone give me some advice on how to turn off the cold water supply to the bath? I have looked everywhere in and outside the flat for another stop cock but can't find one.

If you really get stuck there are portable pipe freezers. I've never used one myself but perhaps you can rent one. They should allow you time to cut the pipe down and fit a stop valve.

Thanks for replying.
Pipe freezers, thats an interesting solution to the problem, first i've ever heard of them.
Think this may be a job for my plumber.

I think its a job for your plumber as well.
Don't hold out too much hope for a freezer job, they don't like lead very much, and in any case you should have a stopcock for the flat, ask the seller or agent.

I've looked everywhere in the flat for the stop cock. Is it possible that there may be a sort of communal stop cock somewhere that would cut the water off to my flat but also other flats?

A very good chance of it, perhaps you could ask the neighbour.
