Indelible help
Oct 20th, 2006, 7:09pm

Ok, So there I was fitting a towel rail in a posh bathroom….
Mark round the four brackets with my trusty indelible marker pen, start to drill the holes Bu**er these are marble….

So the question is how do you remove the ‘shadow’ of  the marker that’s still left on the wall?

Thanks,

Bleach perhaps? Try it of a scrap bit of tile first!

There are specialist stain removers on the market designed to remove 'impossible' stains from fabric, carpet etc.  There is one for permanent marker but I have no idea how good it would be on marble.

Try THIS, also good for graffiti.

You can get paultice type material that sucks the stain out of marble, not sure how well it would work on pen. I always use a kiddies felttip pen on tile as it wipes off easily, just use the permanent type when wet cutting, masking tape then mark out if its stone.

Mudster may be along with a word od wisdom.
