Guys

Having piped in my radiators, extended my cold water feed for washing machines, etc I am wonderin g if the Magnaclean installation is pretty straight forward as it implies?

http://www.adeysolutions.co.uk/magnaclean/installation.shtml

Now, it seems you

switch off heating

Drain the heating via drain cock

strap the BV in the FE tank

make a suitable cut in the return pipe before it enters the boiler

fit the Magnaclean with the supplied compression fittings

refill and test system for leaks

Anyone fitted one of these? or has experience of them? any words of wisdom?

The magnaclean is the best thing since sliced break.

Interesting to note you have  an open vented system.

I gathered from your post it may be a new system, what boiler is it.
