Kingfisher 2 Boiler and Hot Water
Jun 26th, 2007, 10:31am

Hi - I apologise now if this seems like a stupid question

I have got a Kingfisher 2 Boiler and it is currently only used for central heating.

I want to know if I can use this for heating my water as well as currently I am using an immersion heater.

The controller I have does not have seperate programs for heating and water it is just one set of programs.  It is made by Danfoss

Can this be done or is it a case of new boiler etc.

Thanks

Your info is a bit sketchy but I think I've seen your arrangement before - If you could post photos of the programmer & your HW cylinder that would help. The most likely bits you will need are a 3 port valve, tank stat, new programmer & either a new HW cylinder or a conversion kit (if they're still available) to make it an indirect cylinder. There'll also be some piping changes & some new electric cables.
