When the water is turned on the flame light comes on and the boiler fires up, when i lower the pressure of the tap the flame still on but lower. The plumber tried this he also had them both running the shower and the tap but still the water is not that hot. Before you couldn't touch the water because it was so warm.

Whats the temperature like at the kitchen sink and basin, it sounds more like a shower problem to me.
Is the rose clean (the little holes)

There must be a similar fault in these Baxie 105 this only started to happen when my hot water led light started to flash. the plumber replaced the switch and cured this fault but the hot water was never as warm. Could it be a build up of limescale in the dhw heat exchanger.

Cheers lovejoy i will try this and let you know. Is this the only 2 things that it could be??? and if it is the heat exchanger could anyone tell me how much it would cost me to get it fitted labour as well cheers. I have a Baxie combi 105e instant. It not the ntc senor because the plumber replaced that so it must be the heat exchanger.
