3 phase dol starter (Read 4159 times)

bri GDPR opt-out	3 phase dol starter Feb 26^th, 2009, 7:10pm can some one please help me i need to add a safety switch to a direct on line starter with overload realy stuck without it and must be done please help its a Telemecanique LE1D25V7 by the way if this helps

Can't find a sensible link to the product, so without looking... remove the link wire from the A1 terminal inside, connect this to the 'C' Terminal on your interlock (safety) switch. Connect the NC terminal of the switch back to the A1 terminal on the contactor.

If correct, the switch will interupt the contactor when operated, the contact will be re energised when the switch is closed and the start button is pressed.

bri GDPR opt-out	Re: 3 phase dol starter Reply #4 - Feb 26^th, 2009, 8:48pm great thank you i am going to buy a new unit any way and can i just check if i need a 415 volt coil there is no neutral just the 3 phases and earth if that helps also not sure if the over load is correct the motor is 15 hp dont want to buy like for like if its wrong!

Especially if the DOL starter is supplying a motor of that size.
