Can I get RCBOs to fit in a Wylex consumer unit?

No space to do anything in cupboard such as put in a new cu, or even add separate rcd. Local suppliers say no but just wondering if anyone knows a way to do it. The cu in question is just a 2-way (Cat No 304) and is totally jammed between ceiling, wall, meter and large cu below and the cupboard itself occupies space between window and door. The lower part of the cupboard is totally occupied with 3-phase switchgear for off-peak heating and workshop
There could be an option to drill through wall at back of cupboard and put rcd or new cu containing rcd in another room - that does not appeal but would it be ok to do that if I have to?

Additional info from Yoggo: I should have mentioned the 2-way cu has rewireable fuses at present.

hmm, my searches seem to indicate that a wylex 304 is a three way not a two way. Do you actually have a three way with a blank in it or do you have some other model.
What is this small CU being used for? what is the situation with the large CU below?

The pic above is the good old 404 - a 4 way moulded. The 304 is indeed a 3 way, styled as above.
The 104 is a 1 way,
the 204 is the 2 way.
