With wiring zones letting you put cables 150mm into corners that are rcd protected of course. If the tidiest way to get a new cooker circuit to the kitchen is in behind the coving does it need to be armour or split or will twin and earth be acceptable ??

Twin and earth behind coving with RCD protection is done fairly often if there is no other viable route. It is not the best practice, but I see it is acceptable.

I would prefer to see it clipped to the wall prior to the coving being installed. Not sure I like the idea of fishing a cable in?
