Just taken delivery of a second hand planer and it has SWA cable with red, yellow and blue colours. Am I correct in saying that:

Red = Live
Blue = neutral
Yellow = earth

Thanks

I'm thinking this is some workshop equipment?
That's the logical way to connect it
I would whip the lid off where the SWA enters the machine and check the connections
Make sure they are tight while you are at it
(And making sure its 240volts not 3phase)  Smiley
