Hi, Quick question about safe zones for wiring; I want to move a couple of sockets, but it seems from doing a bit of research that I can't run the cable behind the skirting as I had originally planned, which causes a few issues as we're getting the room replastered on Monday! I plan to put the new sockets at a height of about 12inches above the floor - the same height the 'feeder' socket is, so am I right in thinking that the wire needs to run around the room along a line this height? And if so, can I chisel out the run, put in coduit and 2.5mm cable before we get the walls plastered, and then fit the sockets after I've had an electrician look at it? Any advice would be appreciated, I'm on a pretty tight schedule, so need to know if any of this is even feasible! Thanks
