IP Encolsures for sockets / LV transformers
Nov 10th, 2009, 10:18am

Hi All,
Looking for some guidance / advice.
We are currently having a new garden room built to replace an old Upvc conservatory. We have LV lighting in our garden and originally the LV cables went through a panel and plugged in to sockets in the conservatory. What I would like to have with the new garden room is a pair of FCUs on the inside wall, controlling a pair of double sockets on the outside wall in an suitable IP rated enclosure that would contain the LV PSU to run the lights.
Can anyone recommend any suitable enclosures / suppliers. It will be suitably installed by the electrician, but we are very early in the build and I haven't met the builders sparky yet to discuss, so I'm looking for suggestions.

Many thanks.
Paul

Thanks - that's the sort of thing, I guess I could replace the 4 gang with a pair of two gangs to get the effect that I am after.

Regards,

Paul
