Kitchen expelair

My son is reorganising his kitchen.
He wants to use the exisiting 16amp spur for the cooker hood for a fridge freezer, which then leaves him a problem with how to feed the new expelair which will be on the other side if the room.
My answer is a new feed off the fusebox.
His answer is a spur off the exisiting downstairs ring main, which also feeds the kithcen- some eight - ten sockets in all. There is currently one spur to the boiler electrics.
And the proper answer is??????
And anyone know how much current an expelair draws?
Thanks
John D

You get different models and sizes so can't say for sure but the little ones are only a few watts.

I would only take it to the consumer unit if the run was as easy as taking it from a nearby socket etc. Een then I would spur it from the sockets MCB.
As said, the load is negligable.
