Bleeding danesmoor 20 25 fuel line (Read 7854 times)

lucyd GDPR opt-out	Bleeding danesmoor 20 25 fuel line Jan 22^nd, 2010, 4:05pm I need to bleed the fuel line on my danesmoor 20 25 boiler as i think i have an airlock. but i am not sure how to do this. Can anyone help? There is a tap on the top left of the burner and a nut that fits an allen key mounted on the bottom right. Are either of these the bleed valve? Many thanks, Lucy

What is the fault.

Don't touch any of the burner as you'll most likely mess it up and need an engineer to re-set the pressure etc.

The simply way to bleed the oil line is, turn the oil valve off, disconnect the flexible hose and put the end into a pot, turn the valve back on until the oil flows, and reconnect the flexible hose.

If you have air in the fuel line then this indicates a possible problem with your fuel delivery system or a burner pump problem unless your oil tank was emptied and then refilled.

However, it would be advisable to call in an OFTEC oil technician to check your fuel delivery system and burner especially if your system is a two pipe system or uses a deaerator.
