Changing Light Switches

Switches

Hope someone can help. I have 2 light switches next to eachother. One 2-way and one 1-way switch. I would like to wire them to a 3-way switch so it looks neater. One of the switches on the 2-way also has another switch at the top of the stairs. Can someone help me with the wiring as per the enclosed image. Please be gentle - I am a beginner at this as you can tell from the diagram. Thanks so much  Smiley

Take a photo of the back of each switch and post them here - That will make it SO much easier to help Smiley

The layout of switch terminals is usually in a triangle shape. The terminal at the point of the triangle being common is marked as C or L1 and the two terminals at the base of the triangle will be L1 and L2 or L2 and L3.
The switches maybe upside down, so the important thing is to make a note of the existing switch terminals and use the same terminals on your new switch. And disregard the switch orientation.

C, L1,L2 = L1,L2,L3
