Changing my toilet seat?

Hi, my toilet seat is broken and needs changing. Sounds simple until i realised that not all toilet seats are the same after arriving home with a new one. My toilet is a sealed unit and so the fixings are not undone from underneath as is on most toilets i think. Mine has two screws that go through a chrome plate into the toilet pan. Is there a special name for this type of fixing detail? I have searched the net for one but cant seem to find one and the toilet has no brand name or markings on it to reference against. Any advice appreciated!!!!!!

Top or concealed fixing would be a good place to start

Try..
http://www.goodwoodbathrooms.co.uk/loo_seats/index.php
They appear to have three standard 220mm designs and will make you a seat from a template if the standard ones aren't suitable..

EDIT: Yikes I've just seen their prices. Perhaps wait for a better suggestion.

Google can find a few if you search for "toilet seat top fitting hinges 220mm" without the quotes. For example..
