Faulty Dimmer switch.
Jul 28th, 2011, 6:13pm

Hi, I've already used another forum to find out whats wrong with my dimmer switch,  ( a light bulb blew causing the house light RCD to trip, replaced the bulb and reset the RCD switch and now the dimmer switch will turn on but will not dim now know why) but what i would like to know is if it it would be safe to use this switch just till i get a new one?  ( less then 2-3 days) "payday  Grin"  Or if it could possibly over heat and be a fire hazard  Embarrassed

Many thanks in advance.
