Wiring extractor fan to light / light pull
Feb 6th, 2012, 12:49pm

Hi,

I have a 20w extractor fan & timer for the bathroom. It has already been wired with three-core cable at the fan end before the walls were plastered. I would like to wire this along with the ceiling light to the light pull so that they both come on when switched on and with the fan staying in for 5 mins after being turned off (This has been set on timer)

Any help would be appreciated

Is there a neutral at the switch?

The fan/timer will probably need a Permanant Live and Neutral in addition to the Switched Live.
