Nailed a wire!
Apr 6th, 2015, 3:33pm

Hi Everyone,

I've just done something really stupid.  I've put a nail into the wall and tripped my whole kitchen.  I assume I've therefore put the nail into the wire.  The nail is now out (after switching all the power off).

Is this something that I can just put a little plaster on and not worry about, or is this a serious issue?

Thanks

Steve

You'll need to get a sparky in to repair or replace the cable

You could dig around it to see what damage you've done, preferably with the electric turned off
