Hi There
Im making my own driveway my subbase is 150mm mot 1 would a tarmac tamper do as im on a budget or should i hire a jumping jack?

Think experts would use a vibrating roller but I hired a vibrating wacker plate. About £20-£40 for a days hire I think. Also used it to compact the ground before spreading the hardcore.
