Treated timber
Aug 15th, 2004, 3:25pm

Just had a lot of new timber fitted , it was treated by the suppiler ( pressure treated ) funny green colour .

Now the question should I treat the cut ends of the timber or is pressure treated timber good enough to leave cut ends "untreated"

The timber is in use as roof joists and collars

It's always best to treat the ends with something like Cuprinol just incase the pressure treatment hasn't fully penitrated right into the centre.
