Set your first lath so there is a two inch overhang of the tile into the gutter then lay out a course of tile so that the overhang is equal on both sides for the fillett bedded onto a fibre cement strip. Set your laths at twelve inches or as near as this will allow if you consider the top lath needs to take the final course of tile with mabe only an inch from head of top tile to wall so there is no cutting and the lead will cover the head fully. (may need to lessen or increase the gauge slightly to accomodate this)
Then tile away .. nail the first two courses and two tiles in from each gable, then every third or fourth course thereafter.

Good luck

Regards

Robbo.
