You need inserts for all types of plastic pipe.
You should't really mix and match the different brands but a lot of people do. If you do the warranty is invalid
Poyplumb and hep20 are the most similar of all the plastics, and I would guess that the inserts can be used on either, but would not recommend doing so- unless you're really stuck!
