replacing the bathrom in my house,i have taken every thing out including the tiles and plasterboard
there is a hatch on the floor saying valves?
i was wanting to tile the floor. can i do this and have no access to these valves?
there are three valves with drain cocks.
i think heating pipes?
what do you do in this situation.

Another way is to re-route the valves so they are accessable from under the bath or from another room with carpet.

But what are these valves for?  Has your house been extended and are these valves on the first floor?

These may be 'temporary' valves used when an extension was built so that the existing rads (or whatever) could continue to function after the new supplies were 'first fixed'.  When the extension was completed the vales were opened to fill the new pipework.

So you may not need access again?  More info please, and why 3 valves and why with drain cocks?  Maybe this is ground floor?  Tell us more............  

well 2 of them are definately heating flow and return then.  Are these valves stopcocks or gate valves or ballofix valves?

Can't you re-route them to under the bath?  Are the drain cocks under this floor too?  Can they also be re-routed to under the bath?

What about creating a cupboard with these valve under that?

can you not gain accessto under bathroom floor by going under floor elsewhere????????????????

if so you still have access even after tiling
