will matter if you stick the tranny inside and it overheats and melts thermal link ???????????????????

Bit of a b*gger if you want to board the floor of your loft, isn't it.

But then again, in order to shave costs, builders these days seem to make roofs with undersized timbers that require so much cross-bracing in them that you can't move around up there and use it for storage anyway...
