another possible way around part P

it only applies to LV and ELV so if you can find a way to wire a house that doesn't come under either of those clasifications then part P doesn't apply Wink

so how hard would it be to design a house wiring system that would be classed as HV and would be safe to use?

It would be interesting to see a table of cable sizes and volt drop for circuits of up to 10-12kW capacity with a 12V supply, i.e. approx 1000A.....
