40 years ago my father purchased enough sawn mahogany to make a dining table and 4 (6?) chairs. I suspect he gave the timber merchant a cutting list from a wood working magazine or similar. For years it lay tied up in bundles in the roof space of his garage then when he died I inhereted it - and it's now it's in my garage"
My question is what to do with it now? I'm reasonably good with my hands - but perhaps not that good. I don't have the original plans nor do I have large wood working tools - a decent 6" planer would probably be needed.
My wife suggests finding someone to turn it into furniture but I suspect wood is cheap and skilled labor very expensive. Too expensive?
Any other ideas?
