kitchen fitting

whilst fitting a kitchen today we came across the usual problem of the walls not being square, usually we a re able to overcome this with not too much of a problem but this time the ammount that the walls were out was massive almost 2" over 1.5 m (sorry about the metric and imperial) it took a bit of working out but we managed to sort it out in end by cutting the backs out of some of the units, I was just wondering how other people overcome this cos this doesnt seem ideal!

Not ideal I know but you've probably done it the best way
Keeping the units square to each other is important as any floor tiling will look dreadful if the plinths don't meet at 90

It's the only way to do it, that's why the back of the unit doesn't go right to the back of the unit

I'm glad that the nearest Ikea is 40 miles away so never got tempted to have a look round even though the regularly make leaflet drops with the weekly free paper.
