What's out there?
Jun 1st, 2005, 9:42pm

A friend of mine collects classic motorbikes and has asked me if I know of any device with which he can secure them with in his garage.
He has in mind some kind of device which can be looped through the frame of each machine and then closed. Should the closed loop be broken, then an alarm will sound.

Anyone know of such a product or anything simialr which might do the job?
He doesn't want anything fancy, no fancy computerised addressable alarm panels, just something reasonably cheap and simple.

could just use a cheap intruder alarm and run the loop wire off one of the zone inputs (with a connector in the wire obviously Wink )

you can also buy dedicated loop alarms which may be what your after.
