New Log-In Procedure
Aug 9th, 2005, 9:36pm

Can we have a new log in procedure which works as follows.

- No longer are we automatically logged in.

- Must enter our password.

- Have a set of check boxes prior to entry and one MUST be checked and may I suggest following check boxes;

(a) Had a nice day, ripped off loads of customer and ma happy.

(b) Feeling OK but could be better today.

(c) Sort of pished off, bad day.

(d) I am REALLY pished off, dont rub me up the wrong way else...

Then when they log in the check box they ticked is shown so some days we have to put of kid gloves whilst other days we can have some nice banter and debate etc.

Makes sense?

You can do this from the top right of the forum.

Logout

If you just close the page then you stay logged in.

You already have the choice of whether to stay logged on, how long to logon for and whether you want to have to logon when you login.

Just logoff then go to logon again.
You will see the choice.
By default you stay logged on for 60 minutes and also always.
Uncheck the box to stay logged on and you should have it the way you want Ray.
You will have to type in both the username and password each time though.

lol - omg Dewy, I know that mate!!

The purpose of this thread was sort of serious by way of letting people know how you are feeling that day (hence the smiles of grimaces etc). It was really all to do with a sequence of events that took place last night here which lead to a thread being locked.

But thanks anyway Dewy.

Ray

PS. I have forgotten my password anyway LONG ago.

So, you log in, then you'r logged on, you can stay logged on once you have logged in, but if you logout you have to log in again to be logged on. So if you don't logout your still logged on so you don't have to log in again.   Cry

I'm off!

lol Dewy, its a bit like that "Describing the game of cricket to foreigners" thing, very funny it is.

Ya know the one that goes simmit like "when ya in a in and when ya out ya out then when all those that were in are all out the others go in and the ones that were in try to get the ones that are in out etc.etc."
