Very nice job, and Contiboard...it certainly saves painting, I love it Cheesy

I'm with BA here though, its a big span likely to carry a lot of weight. I did something similar a few years ago, I made an L shaped bracket of monumental proportions to match the rest of the unit (ply inside with conti outside and timber lipping). Unfortunaly I don't have a picture, I didn't bother in those days.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes under the centre section of the 'unsupported' piece is a hardwood bearer and the joint is made using the kitchen worktop clamps and biscuits. I wanted the impression of it being unsupported although it is battened to the wall and has the bearers. Looks like I may get a few more desks to build too as the guys son has his own communications business and is looking for desks for the office and his own home. Could be the start of something big Shocked
