IP numbers

How can I find out who has a certain IP number??

The reason I ask is that if I look at my websites activity, I get a list of IP numbers, but ALWAYS in the list is one that sticks out - begins 207.

I am thinking it is a search engine, but the site has been running for 3 years, and I have only just recently started to see this IP.

microsofts search engine seems to sometimes repeatedly hit the same site for no apparent reason i've seen complaints about it in a number of places.

That is the Local Loopback address, ignore it, it's just the computer talking to itself, they all go mad eventually.

My site never used to get crawled that much, but now is all the time, and if you type the right keywords in, comes up pretty much up top.

Unfortunatly, so does the pages from my old server, which no longer holds anything - just an error message!  This was a server with an address supplied from my DSL provider - like www.me@dslsupplier.net.  I had my domain pointing to it.  I have tried everything to get rid......
