lostinfens GDPR opt-out	undergound cable? Sep 28^th, 2006, 1:25pm Hiya, I've got some "armour cable" 3 core and 7 core - it's a few years old but unused on drums. My question is is it suitable to run to and power a shed/workshop? does it have to go back to the consumer unit etc? It's pretty meaty stuff!

Also, depends on size of conductors (csa) and length of run. How far is it from the power source to the shed? And what will the maximum load in the shed be?
