sealing kitchen worktops
Oct 1st, 2006, 4:58pm

I have bought some PVA adhesive to seal the back edge of the worktop and the joints before I fix them do I use it neat or dilute it with so many parts water.
Thank you for any advice.

heeelllooo   eddierzz and welcome Grin Grin Grin Wink

most people will seal the worktop "cut edges "with whatever they have to hand as in if your gluing neat pva
if youve got to stick on edging contact adhesive

if youve got to mastic use mastic

even hear of people painting  the edges never tried painting but i am shure like the rest will work

PVA adhesive will work, but it should be exterior grade. The interior grades just dissolve in the presence of water
