variable speed on hitachi mv12

now i can vaugley remember  1 is somthing like 1300 rpm and 6 is full speed [2000 rpm]

but has any one got a more accurate speed profile

i prefer large 3" cutters whizzing round as slow as possible Shocked Shocked Wink

Use them on 1 then Grin (sorry Roll Eyes)

I saw this on an American site where the speed controller was blowing if the router is used at its slowest setting with big cutters, may be something to be wary of Undecided

I would expect it's a linear scale, if you know the top and bottom speeds you can work out the intermediates

1= 8,000
2= 10,000
3= 13,000
4= 16,000
5= 19,000
6= 22,000

All approximate, rounded up or down to suit.

According to the review for this router you may find it useful to get a RAZRUK plate, as the recess in the base plate is too deep to take Trend bushes.

i have all the parerwork from when it was new and no where does it mention the the speeds it mentiones the speed controle several times  including in the specefication but only mentions the max speed Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
