are laminates available in lengths of 14 feet for large countertops? I have only used them pre-fab for smaller applications. would like to avoid a seam even though this is for a basement workspace

In their FAQ these people mention the weight of a 4100 mm long worktop = 13 foot and a bit.

I've never used them.

Google suggests Ikea may be able to supply 4200mm from comments on forums.

as you will already be paying through the nose for a 4m over a 3m length could you not introduce a line of little drawers or little shelves or whatever at each end to fill in the difference with the sides extended slightly to cover the gap !!!!
