Skirting finishes
Nov 26th, 2007, 3:35pm

I'm looking a a renovation on my property in the near future and have always fancied the sort of finising on the skirting and door facings you see on the likes of grand design etc- the expensive natural wood. is there a cheaper alternative? i don't want soft timder that looks stained or varnished.

If you want some cheap oak doors to go with it I saw some in B&Q recently. Think they were £50 each. The sample in Peterborough store looked like it would come up nice with some Ozmo hardwax oil on it. There were two versions one with the top panel in glass the other solid.

I couldn't find it on their web site or I'd have posted a link.

PS: Not to be confused with their notty pine doors at similar price.
