plastic waste connection to cast iron stack???
Apr 9th, 2008, 5:42pm

Im putting in a new cloakroom and need to fit new waste to the basin and wc. The soil stack they currently connect into is cast iron and the waste pipework for the existing basin & wc is metal (cast iron??).
I will be doing both new wastes in plastic and want to connect to the exisiting stack.
I take it that it is ok to do these connections and if so..there must be an adaptor piece to connect plastic to cast iron?? Can anyone tell me what its called??

Thanks in advance!
