hopefully someone can help me on this one . about 45 years ago when i was a young lad i gave my uncle a book , mainly because he did a lot of DIY , but his profession was painter and decorator . the book was about A5 in size 2 to 3 inches in depth and the colour of the cover was pink and it was mainly a book for carpenters . being the age i was i thought it would be more useful to him rather than me . the description i believe is right but you know how the memory is Smiley

First published in 1902 it's still in print and available from Amazon. It's a classic and I still use his designs and a lot of his methods. It's A5, 'orangey' cover, and about 2" thick. Should be on every wood workers shelf!
