Can I leave boiler on with no water feed?
Nov 30th, 2010, 11:20am

I'm going on holiday shortly for 2 weeks and because of the extreme cold at the moment I want to leave my heating on in the house on its normal cycle.

I want to turn the water stop cock off though while away though in case of burst pipes etc.

Will my combi boiler work OK with the water supply to the house being turned off?

Am I doing the right thing? Huh

Yes it will be fine provided the boiler doesn't break down. Just leave it on it's normal program.
