Ports Module - BT Versatility
Apr 18th, 2013, 6:24pm

Hi,

I've just installed a Ports Module into a Versatility system, but the new extensions don't appear to be working, they're not appearing in the handset menus and are greyed out in the Versatility Wizard software.

It's hard to tell whether the Ports Module is actually working as it has no LEDs to indicate whether it's receiving power or not.

Am I missing something obvious?

Can,t you tap over the ports with your butt , & see if there is any DT /Data ? My guess is that the vers isn't seeing the module. The connector isn't that great . Take the module off , then re-install it

Got the extensions working, thanks!

After tapping the ports I noticed the main CCU wasn't sitting in its correct position, it had slid to left so the backplane wasn't properly connected.
