Loft hatch and ladder
Nov 12th, 2013, 6:48pm

Hey guys looking for some advice please.

Looking at extending my hatch and putting in a self contained new loft hatch with integral ladder there are many on the internet to choose from and was wondering what you thought.  Was looking at a 3 piece folding wood ladder, a scissor retractable ladder or a telescopic ladder.  All have to use no loft space other than the area directly above the hatch.

Thanks for your help
Cheers Phil

i have a scissor type not cheap but easily fits in cramped areas
but you have the full weight off the ladder as it cant be cantilevered
ans as its 30 years old i dont know the price but it still works well and i am a fat bu66er
