Greenstar 37cdi combi
Dec 22nd, 2013, 3:51pm

I have this boiler , the heating system works perfectly but the hot water does not.
When using hot water it runs hot for a few mins then goes cold and the temp indicator on the boiler seems to trip out.
If i only turn the hot water tap on say about 20% this sorts the problem and get constant hot water.
Any advice on what could be causing this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is your water pressure ok at the taps, it may be that you have low pressure which does not operate the boiler switch to fire up the hot water supply. If the pressure is ok then you should get the boiler checked.

Hi,

What is the age of the boiler and are all the taps affected.

Is it a new problem and has any work been done recently.

Put a bucket under the kitchen tap and turn it on full, calculate how many Ltrs/min you are getting.
