Fixing Electrical Sockets - Bonding or Cement/Sand
May 31st, 2016, 7:50pm

Hi

I am building a new house, i was looking for any feedback on the best way to fit socket boxes - to use bonding or sand/cement? I will be getting a qualified electrician to do the work but it is just to advise them which i want to go with.

Thanks in advance

Screws and plugs is the best way, not sure its a good idea to tell the tradsman how to do his job mind.

I agree.  There is no better way to pi55 off a tradesman than to make decisions for him.
Buying the materials for the job is as bad.

Leave your activities to making tea and handing out the biscuits - that always helps a job along.

Why is it that, when we stumble across a can of worms, instead of running for the door we find ourselves reaching for a can opener?
