helloo,
i have got a pendant lamp holder, no earth. can i just put a flex on it and a plug then use it for a temporary light for work? the flex is 0.75mm 2core. what size fuse for the plug, is there any concern about it not being earthed?

any advice appreciated as always Smiley

if its plastic no worrys
but as a plasterer you would be better off with a couple of florrys with a few meters of flex
this way it shows up any lumps in the plaster when a pendnt wont Wink

i have about 5 made up for temporery lights

next time your on site and ya see sparky rippin out a few florrys grab em!

lol

what you suggest is ok but theres no gard on the light which is a bit dodgey
