Sounds all very true Andrew, I like the Japanese culture a lot. And yes they DO get upset if you don't read thero bus card.

Chinese is even worse as it has no past tense and another thging I found off putting in dealing with Chinese business people is they are always nodding their head (as in YES). At first you think they are agreeing with what you may have said - not at ALL they are simply indicating that they UNDERSTAND what you have just said. Again wonderful people the Chinese.

In the old days, you used to print off sheets for each font, with a corresponding 'alt nnn'

it should be there in any unicode supporting font

if you select group by unicode subrange then it can be found under both greek and letterlike symbols
