fire alarms

normally only fit domestic fire alarms but got harassed to fit one in a small shop,break points etc no problem fitted and working but need to issue certificate and i guess the niceic form for fire alarms in dwellings probably wont cover this or will it? any advice

I believe the NICEIC have seperate completion forms for fire alarms & emergency lighting that will comply for commercial, I assume you mean non part-6 ones, I know the part 6 can be used for commercial, but I have a feeling it won't cover the system you have  Roll Eyes

I'm sure someone will confirm this..

I assume you are NICEIC Registered?, if not then you may come a bit stuck  Roll Eyes

yes not part 6 ,part 1 am nic registered but as it was a one off for a friend didnt want to buy a whole pad of certificates so wasnt sure if i could get around it

I've always wondered if bs 5869 was a bit like BS 7671, whereby it had it's own certificates you could use..
