Blocked drain (Read 2819 times)

mick_l Newbie Offline I love YaBB 1G - SP1! Posts: 2 Total Thanks: 0 For This Post: 0	Blocked drain Mar 12^th, 2005, 11:25am I have a part blocked washing machine drain. The water backs up and overflows. I have tried unblocking and drain cleaners. Any help or sugestions would be apreciated before i lift the tiled floor

One thing that is very good for clearing a blocked drain is a pressure washer, with the optional drain cleaning attachment.

However, if you aren't careful then the pressure washer could squirt water back into the house side of things (not usually a problem if its outside that floods out).

I've cleaned a couple of drains this way and it works a treat.

End result was a fountain in the kitchen, because he stuck it in a cleaning eye from outside
